Caregiver Educational Workshops for December 2022

Annapolis, MD (November 28, 2022) - The Department of Aging and Disabilities is pleased to announce an upcoming Caregiver Educational Workshop for December 2022.

On December 8th at 6:30 pm, Jennifer Jackson, Independent PAC Trainer and ADA Coordinator for Anne Arundel County, will present one of Teepa’s Snow “Positive Approach to Care” workshops. Participants in this workshop will discuss the value and importance of seeing people living with dementia as having retained abilities, value, and benefitting from the right support and care to optimize performance and quality of life. This workshop will be held at the North County/Hein Office (7320 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie). The workshop is presented at no cost to the public by the National Family Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
