Annapolis, MD (August 10, 2021) - The Department of Aging and Disabilities is pleased to announce up-coming virtual Caregiver Educational Workshops.
On Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 6:30 pm, Jennifer FitzPatrick, MSW, LCSW-C, CSP, will present “Living Your Best Life As a Caregiver After the Stress & Drama of the Pandemic and Covid-19 Policies.”
The past year and a half have been beyond traumatic. If you are struggling with feeling normal again you aren’t alone. Join us for this interactive program on addressing how to live your best life while taking care of your loved one and yourself going forward. This workshop will be held via the Zoom platform.

On September 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm, Mary Chaput, Family Caregiver Support Program Director, will facilitate the Virtual Dementia Live Program. This workshop is a high impact, dementia simulation experience that immerses participants into life with dementia, resulting in a deeper understanding of what it is like to live with cognitive impairment and sensory changes. The workshops are presented at no cost to the public by the National Family Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
