County Council Accepting Citizen Applications for Appointment to the Maryland State Chesapeake Bay Bridge Reconstruction Advisory Group

Annapolis (June 16, 2020)  The Anne Arundel County Council is seeking two Anne Arundel County citizens to appoint to the newly created Chesapeake Bay Bridge Reconstruction Advisory Group (CBBRAG). 

CBBRAG is a State advisory group that consists of a variety of State officials and Queen Anne's County and Anne Arundel County citizens. Duties of CBBRAG are, in general, to provide the Maryland Transportation Authority with an independent, citizen-informed perspective on operations at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, assist in assessing potential concerns about activity relating to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, assist in educating the general public about activity relating to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, and provide pertinent input related to traffic and customer service issues. Members are expected to attend meetings and work with others to achieve the goals of CBBRAG.

The application must be completed, and a copy of a resume or CV emailed to JoAnne Gray at jgray@aacounty.org, by 12:00 noon, June 29, 2020 in order to be considered for the appointment.  Two Anne Arundel County citizens will be appointed to CBBRAG by resolution of the County Council during their July 6, 2020 meeting.
