County Council to Hold Two Public Hearings on Proposed Budget

Public Hearings on the Proposed FY24 Budget will be held on May 11th and May 18th; County Executive introduces Supplemental Budget amendments

Annapolis, Md (May 9, 2023) As advertised, the following public hearings will be held before the County Council on the overall proposed Fiscal Year 2024 Budget for Anne Arundel County.

Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend the hearings. The hearings can also be watched on Arundel TV. Testimony on the proposed FY24 Budget can be given in person at the May 11th or May 18th public hearings. Written or typed testimony can be submitted online, mailed, or dropped off. Today, the County Executive presented, to the County Council, supplemental amendments to the proposed Fiscal Year 2024 Budget for Anne Arundel County to add or increase certain items. These amendments will be considered by the County Council during their meeting scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on June 14, 2023. A copy of the proposed supplemental amendments to the FY24 Budget can be found by visiting www.aacounty.org/FY24BudgetHearings.
