County Council Schedules Virtual Emergency Legislative Session

Annapolis, MD (May 19, 2020) The Anne Arundel County Council has scheduled an emergency legislative session to be held Friday, May 22, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. to hear and vote on Emergency Bill No. 41-20 – AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE concerning: Proclamation of Civil Emergency in Anne Arundel County – FOR the purpose of amending the termination date established by Bill No. 24-20; and making this Ordinance an emergency measure. The Bill in its entirety follows this press release and can be accessed on the Council web site.

There will be no public attendance. The emergency legislative session can be watched on local cable channels or via Arundel TV Live. To access Arundel TV Live, visit www.aacounty.org/services-and-programs/government- television. Local cable channels are Channel 98 for Comcast and Broadstripe; Channel 38 for Verizon; Channel 998 for HD Comcast; Channel 1962 for HD Verizon; and Channel 498 for HD Broadstripe.
