A public meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 6:00-7:30pm at
Broadneck Elementary School, 470 Shore Acres Rd in Arnold.
During the meeting, DPW will update citizens on this ongoing design project to implement Safety
Improvements along Pleasant Plains Rd from 500 feet north of Midvale Rd to Cherry Rd. This project
includes establishing a 12-foot clear zone by removing vegetation, regrading slopes for the grass buffer
areas, and relocating existing utility poles. Overall project description, project needs, hydraulic design,
environmental permitting impacts, project schedule and construction impacts will be addressed at the
