"Like many Broadneck peninsula residents, I have been stuck in a traffic mess in recent weeks. While the photos here are not mine, they could have been. I will be advocating for a revised Pilot plan next summer, on behalf of our community, but the State Highway Administration (SHA) needs to hear from you. As a reminder, last year’s pilot ran Thursday-Sunday during peak hours at temporary C (fix) Exit 30 (Whitehall) and Exit 32 (Oceanic) and permanently C (fix) Exit 31 (Whitehall). This summer, SHA has only been closing Exit 32 during peak hours on Friday and Saturday. I’m going to request a return to both ramp closures and/or Thursday-Saturday time-frames for next season."
Please be sure SHA hears from you, email at shainput@mdot.maryland.gov and reference “Broadneck Rt 50 Ramp Management Pilot Program”
