Howl-O-Ween Paw-ty at Animal Care & Control
Thank you to EVERYONE who made today’s Howl-O-Ween Paw-ty at Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control a huge success!
A special thank you to Christina, our event coordinator and Friends of Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control, Inc. for organizing this AWESOME event. We had an AMAZING turn out and enjoyed spending the day with our community (and eating candy)!
We had 5 dogs (Dudley, Nutmeg, Happy Feet, Storm and Eris) and 15 cat/kittens (Princess, Eveey, Batty, Winter, Zoey, Thunder storm, Boogaloo, Otis, Maeve, Aimee, Scotland, Frieden, Liebe, Oatmeal Raisin & Buttons) adoptions today!!!!
Thank you Anne Arundel County Police Department for showing up, collaborating on this event, decorating vehicles, handing out candy and ensuring the street was closed off. We had a great turn out of support from the Department including, but not limited to, Chief Of Police Amal Awad, many members of the Command Staff, Police Personnel team members, Evidence Collection team members, Road Officers, Reserve Officers, Cadets, Police Communications team members and of course the Animal Care & Control crew.
Thank you Anne Arundel County Fire Department and Chief Wolford for joining us in full force this year handing out goodies and helping make this day fun filled for the community. The Fire Chief had a whole crew here with numerous trucks, lots of fire personnel and cool giveaways.
Thank you @Anne Arundel County Sheriffs department for doing an awesome job representing the Sheriff's office, decorating your vehicle's/station and joining in all the fun.
Thank you @ Anne Arundel County Alarmers for providing food for our crowds (even making trips to replenish due to the extremely high turn out)!
Thank you @County Executive Steuart Pittman, @Council Councilwoman Lacey, @ County Councilwoman Fiedler and @ County Councilwoman Pickard for judging our AWESOME fun and creative Costume Parade. We know those votes were tough!
Thank you Anne Arundel County Department of Health, @Anne Arundel County Department of Aging & Disabilities, @Anne Arundel County Arundel County Office of Emergency Management, @ The States Attorney’s Office, @ Anne Arundel County Animal Welfare Council for setting up tables, handing out goodies and sharing valuable information with the community.
