Safety in our communities was a commitment I made.

From Evergreen Rd in Severna Park to Shore Acres Rd in Arnold, District 5 is becoming a safer place for pedestrians and bikers.

Today the installation of a pedestrian island and pedestrian crossing are being installed on Shore Acres Rd near Bay Green Dr.

As the nearby shopping center has grown in popularity with exciting new restaurants, and the increase in pedestrian and bike traffic with the Broadneck trail, this area has become a bit of a game of "frogger" for area families and youth.
