FOR the purpose of authorizing a retiree who was a participant in the Police Service Retirement Plan who was appointed Deputy Police Chief between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2015, to transfer between the Employees’ and Police Service Retirement Plans under certain circumstances; requiring the pension benefit of a Deputy Police Chief who elects to transfer certain credited service from the Employees’ Retirement Plan to the Police Service Retirement Plan to be recalculated on the date the Deputy Police Chief terminates employment with the County; providing for the termination of this Ordinance; and generally relating to pensions.
