Alana is the Nonprofit Center’s Summer 2024 Graduate Intern. Alana has a BA in Liberal Arts from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Her private sector work experience includes process creation in business environments dealing with significant growth or change. Since moving to Anne Arundel County as a military spouse, Alana has been working toward an MPA degree from the University of Baltimore with a specialization in Public and Nonprofit Management. Most recently she worked as Marketing & Program Coordinator for an Annapolis-based nonprofit. Alana has a passion for collaboration between sectors to positively impact their shared community.
During her internship, Alana will assist with communications and development of the Nonprofit Center's policies and procedures for the facility at 41 Community Place.
