Anne Arundel County’s Senior Dog Sanctuary, a Community Support Grant recipient and member of the Fundraising & Sustainability Cohort, was recently featured on Good Morning America. The sanctuary, located in Severn, was founded in 2016 and has continued to grow every year. Now, they are launching a new program - the Tommy Raskin Seniors to Seniors Program. The initiative provides senior citizens with pet supplies, like dog food, to care for senior dogs. They also coordinate visits to local senior centers, allowing the pups and residents some bonding time.
