I’ve got a lot of things to say this week, but they’re not Thanksgiving things. They’re “make things better” things, so I’ll save them for future weekly letters, and instead give thanks for how things are.
Here are my top five.
- My wife, my kids, relatives, and friends near and far. They love me, and I love them, and that makes me whole.
- I have a job, a job that pays my bills and that allows me to “make things better,” for a lot of people, and sometimes even for nature.
- I got educated, and my education gave me tools to connect with others and to live a fulfilling life.
- I live in a part of the world that is relatively safe, safer than most places and safer than it’s ever been in the past.
- I have good health, and believe that I am on a path with many others to grow harmony and peace everywhere.
I hope that you too 1) are well loved, 2) are able to pay your bills, 3) have tools to connect with others, 4) are safe, and 5) have good health and are on a path to grow harmony and peace everywhere.
Thank YOU for helping to make Anne Arundel County The Best Place For All.
They had too much yellow squash this week at the Ralph Bunche Center food distribution, and Nelsa Brown insisted that I take this huge box home. If the turkey runs out today, we can all fill up on squash!
Until next week…
