As mail-in ballots are being delivered and early voting will begin next month, we wanted to share with you the language of the Charter Amendments that Anne Arundel County voters will have before them this election. These questions were voted on by the County Council and were each passed with a super-majority vote, which means at least 5 of the 7 council members were in agreement that the issue should go before the voters this election. Changes to the County Charter require public approval. Therefore if the voters pass these amendments, they would become law 30 days after the election. Attached is a pdf with the wording for each of the seven questions that will be asked of Anne Arundel County voters.
