On September 17, 2021, at approximately 3:40 a.m., officers responded for a report of a vehicle tampering in the 400 block of Oakton Road in Odenton. Witnesses reported three unknown males were checking door handles and had entered vehicles parked on Oakton Road and Monterey Avenue. Four vehicle owners reported that their vehicles had been tampered with. A black Audi was seen leaving the area. Detectives believe this incident to be related to a vehicle tampering spree that occurred on September 15th on Bruce Avenue and Williamsburg Lane in Odenton, during which 11 vehicles were tampered with.
