The 12th annual Annapolis Film Festival earlier this month brought in scores of visitors into the heart of our county to view over 70 films in one weekend. For over a decade, the festival has kept our county entertained while encouraging thought-provoking conversations and showcasing diverse stories. Each year the festival has continued to grow. This year, attendees were able to enjoy panel discussions, Q&As, and coffee chats with leading voices in the field. And of course, there were lots of films! County Executive Pittman was honored to join the First Mother of Maryland, Joy Moore, on opening night.
From short, humorous films to full-length movies starring Emmy-award-winning A-listers, there was no shortage of viewing options. You can check out the full list of titles and descriptions of films here. Be on the lookout for next year’s festival which is sure to bring-in even more smashing successes.
The Annapolis Film Festival also recently launched the Annapolis Film Society - a group that meets to enjoy even more screenings and further the mission of the Festival.
