MD 713 -- Ongoing Design Projects to Improve Pedestrian and Bicycle Connectivity – Project #H564008

A public meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm at Hebron-Harman Elementary School, 7660 Ridge Chapel Rd, Hanover, MD 21076.

During the meeting, DPW and MDOT SHA will update citizens on ongoing design projects to improve pedestrian and bicycle connectivity. The improvements are broken out into three separate projects:

• MD 713 from Arundel Way to MD 176 at Ridge Road
  •  Add a 10-foot wide Shared Use Path within the project limits.
• MD 176 from Ridge Road to MD 170
  •  Add a 10-foot wide Shared Use Path within the project limits. 
  •  Replace an existing underground utility water line.
• MD 176 from Windstream Cir. to MD 713 
  • Add a 5-foot wide sidewalk within the project limits.
