On June 9, 2024, at approximately 4:30 a.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 7102 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. A male suspect entered the store, threatened the clerk with a handgun, and demanded currency. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the area and located the suspect in the area of Polk Circle. Further investigation led to the execution of a search warrant of a white Toyota Camry used by the suspect, resulting in the seizure of a loaded handgun, $702 in U.S. currency, approximately 165 grams of suspected Cannabis, and approximately 145 grams of suspected crack cocaine.

On June 9, 2024, at approximately 1:45 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a gray 2015 Mazda on Crain Highway at Hidden Brook Drive in Glen Burnie. During the stop, a loaded .32 caliber handgun and approximately 1.91 grams of suspected crack cocaine were recovered from the vehicle. Both the driver and passenger had active arrest warrants. They were arrested and charged accordingly.

On June 10, 2024, at approximately 12:05 a.m., officers responded to the area of Solley Road and Steens Hill Road in Glen Burnie for a report of gunshots. Responding officers located two spent shell casings on the ground. A witness reported seeing a light-colored vehicle with tinted windows leaving the area after the shots were fired. There were no reports of damage or injury as a result of this incident. Robbery (Citizen) - Laurel

On June 9, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded for a citizen robbery in the 3500 block of Russett Green E. in Laurel. The victim reported he received a text message instructing him to withdraw money from the bank. After making the withdrawal at an ATM, the victim was approached by a male suspect who displayed a handgun and took the money from the victim. The suspect fled in a gray sedan.
