Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash- Crownsville

On July 6, 2024 at 7:48 a.m., Western District officers responded to St. Stephens Church Road and Penderbrooke Drive for a serious injury crash involving two vehicles. The investigation revealed a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling north on St. Stephens Church Road and crossed the center line of the roadway into oncoming traffic. The Suzuki motorcycle struck a 2014 Toyota Sequoia that was travelling south on St. Stephens Church Road. The operator of the Suzuki motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene by Anne Arundel County Fire personnel.
This crash is under investigation by the Traffic Safety Section.
