For the first time, Anne Arundel County officially marked the observance of Nonprofit Day on August 17, 2024.
In a video shared online, County Executive Steuart Pittman reminded residents of the important work done by nonprofits and encouraged them to support organizations in their communities in honor of Nonprofit Day. He also recognized ways local government can help nonprofits, exemplified in the Nonprofit Center and Community Support Grants in Anne Arundel County.
