On September 4, 2024, at approximately 9:30 a.m., an officer was called to the scene of an unresponsive male in the driver’s seat of a on Church Street near Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn. As the male awoke, the officer observed the grip of a handgun in the male’s waistband. The suspect was detained and found to be in possession of 24 pills of suspected Oxycodone Hydrochloride, suspected CDS packaging material, a digital scale, $635 in U.S. currency and a .25 caliber AG Armi Galesi Hijo handgun. The suspect was arrested and charged.

Carjacking - Linthicum

On September 5, 2024, at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers responded for a carjacking that occurred at the Royal Farms store, 803 Pinnacle Drive, in Linthicum. The 30-year-old female victim was in her vehicle when she was approached by a male suspect who displayed a handgun, threatened her and demanded her car keys. The victim complied and the suspect drove off with the victim’s white 2008 Honda Accord. The victim and her friend followed the stolen car and reported its location to Baltimore Police, who located the vehicle and suspect, who was turned over to Anne Arundel County Police and charged.
