Commercial Robbery Update - Glen Burnie

On November 17, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., officers responded to the Royal Farms located at 7908 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery. A male entered the store and asked the clerk for two packs of cigarettes. As the clerk rang up the sale, the suspect implied he had a weapon, stole the cigarettes, and fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Regional Crimes Unit detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-4731 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

Suspect: Black male, 20’s, wearing a black and blue hooded sweatshirt

Update (November 26, 2024): Through investigation, Robbery Unit detectives identified the suspect in the robbery of the Royal Farms. On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, detectives charged Joshua Lazenby, 37, of Pasadena, on a warrant for his involvement in this case.

Commercial Robbery Update - Odenton

On November 2, 2024, at approximately 9:30 a.m., officers were called to the Exxon Station, 1318 Annapolis Road, Odenton, for a report of an armed robbery that occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. in Odenton. A male suspect threatened the employee with a knife and removed several pieces of merchandise before fleeing. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Detectives assigned to the Regional Crimes Unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-4730 or the tip line at 410-22-4700.

Suspect: Black male, 18-25 years of age, medium build, wearing dark clothing.

Update (November 26, 2024): Through investigation, Robbery Unit detectives identified the suspect in the robbery of the Exxon Station. On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, detectives charged a 16-year-old male from Odenton on a warrant for his involvement in this case.
