POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Enterprise Application Solutions (EAS) division of the Anne Arundel County Office of Information Technology (OIT) is currently seeking a qualified candidate for an onsite internship. The intern will work in a team environment to develop and maintain software using industry-standard best practices. Additionally, the intern will gain experience with the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing.
BACKGROUND:
OIT EAS supports the County business units by modernizing their departmental processes with custom-developed web-based and mobile software. EAS uses a variety of technologies: Java, React.js, Node.js, GraphQL, React Native.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate should be pursuing college coursework in computer science or a related field, with an interest or familiarity with the technologies mentioned in the above background.
WORK HOURS:
Minimum 16 hours/week and maximum 35 hours/week. Office hours are on-site Monday and Wednesday, and remote Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We are willing to work with your summer or academic schedule.
