County Executive Pittman Announces Opening of FY 2026 Community Support Grant Applications

Program awards up to $50,000 in funding to eligible nonprofits

Annapolis, MD (January 10, 2025) – Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman and the Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. (ACDS) today announced the opening of applications for the FY26 Community Support Grant (CSG) Program, which awards up to $50,000 in funding to eligible nonprofits. The application deadline is February 21, 2025.

“This grant is critical for helping organizations strengthen their capacity to serve our communities,” said County Executive Steuart Pittman. “Supporting our nonprofit community is essential to ensuring they can continue their vital work and expand their impact.”

This year’s program invests $2 million in nonprofit organizations that offer services meeting one or more of the administration’s priorities. These priorities include providing services to underserved populations, addressing the health and wellbeing of communities, promoting equity and inclusion, and eliminating the opportunity gap in education. The competitive grants typically range from $10,000 to $50,000.

“The Community Support Grants provide vital funding to approximately 75 non-profit organizations across the County,” said ACDS CEO Erin Karpewicz. “Thanks to these resources, thousands of County residents receive services ranging from housing assistance, educational support, and mental and behavioral health services. ACDS is proud to partner with the County and these organizations to help make Anne Arundel County The Best Place - For All.”

Grant applications are reviewed by an interagency team of County Health and Human Service leaders. The award process and administration of the grants is managed by ACDS, the County’s nonprofit housing and community development administrator.
