Stolen Vehicle / Weapons Violation - Brooklyn Park

On January 22, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers were in the area of Patrick Henry Street and Dell Street in Brooklyn Park when they observed an unoccupied stolen vehicle and an unoccupied suspicious vehicle, a blue Nissan Altima, where the registered owner was known to be wanted. The owner of the Nissan Altima attempted to flee when he observed police officers approaching. An officer apprehended the driver following a brief foot pursuit. A second subject was taken into custody from the passenger side of the Altima. A search of the vehicle resulted in a seizure of numerous suspected suboxone strips, approximately 202 grams of marijuana, and a 9mm black semi-automatic ghost gun.
