Annapolis, MD - Officials from the State of Maryland, Anne Arundel County, and the City of Annapolis will announce a significant investment to the Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis (HACA) of more than $3.3 million in funding ($300K DHCD; $1M State of Maryland; $500K Anne Arundel County; and $1.5M City of Annapolis) to support public and affordable housing in Annapolis. The initiative aims to assist HACA by providing direct funds to address a maintenance backlog. The goal is to improve access to safe, affordable homes for low- and moderate-income families in the City.
The joint funding is part of a continuing effort to support affordable housing and create economic development opportunities in Annapolis. The announcement will highlight the collaborative approach between state, county, and city governments, as well as the involvement of the City’s Housing Authority.
