Update on the fatal townhome fire that took place on February 20, 2025, in the 900 block of Riversedge Circle. The victims of the fire have been identified as:
- Paul D. Tisdale (Male, 84), D.O.B. 09/04/1942
- Pamala S. Fox (Female, 70), D.O.B. 04/15/1954
Both victims died as a result of the fire on February 20, 2025. It is unknown if there were working smoke detectors in the residence. These fatalities are the first of the year in Anne Arundel County.
The fire was accidental in nature, and the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Two adults succumb to their injuries after a fire in their home.
At approximately 9:48pm last night, the Anne Arundel County Fire Department along with mutual aid partners responded to the 900 block of Riversedge Circle. Crews arrived to find a middle of the row townhouse well involved in fire. An immediate fire attack was performed along with a simultaneous search for occupants. Two adult occupants were located. One was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Both occupants of the home have succumbed to their injuries. The Fire Investigation Bureau of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department is continuing to investigate the cause of what they are calling an accidental fire. The Red Cross was notified for the adult occupants and pets of an adjoining home. No other injuries were reported.
