October 10th was World Mental Health Day. A day to recognize the importance of mental health.
Stopping the stigma of mental, pushing for more mental health access and acknowledging the tragic results possible when someone is in crisis, have been areas of focus of mine for the last 4 years.
We have come a long way, but there are still people who are suffering in silence behind a stoic appearance.
You never know what is happening in someone's life. Be kind. Be a safe place for friends and know that there are resources available if you are not ok.
It is ok, to not be okay.
