A few years ago, the bus shelter at McKinsey and B&A Blvd was knocked down by a vehicle. Residents of Severna Park reached out to me, concerned over seeing bus patrons in the weather elements of rain and very hot sun (this corner gets direct sun for hours). There was no shade and no bench as a result of the accident.
When Mr. Snead reached out to me shortly after his appointment as the head of Anne Arundel County Transportation, I told him that replacing this bus shelter and bench was one of my goals in the district.
