Making streets safer for pedestrians was one of the commitments I made to our district.
When Ms. Krissoff reached out to my office and said "the intersection of Severn and Ridgeway" I knew immediately the safety concerns she was describing. This intersection has become a thoroughfare for traffic avoiding state highway backups, making it dangerous for bikers, pedestrians and families leaving the community playground.
I was thrilled to be present for installation of a 4th stop sign in Pines on the Severn, making this intersection safer for an entire community.
