Northern District
Commercial Robbery - Brooklyn

On March 1, 2023, at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers responded for a report of a robbery that occurred three days earlier at the Spanish Market, 5005 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn. During their investigation, officers learned that the robbery occurred on February 26, 2023. The victim advised that on that date, at approximately 8:00 p.m., an unknown male suspect entered the store. When the victim asked the suspect if he needed any assistance, the suspect struck him in the face and pushed him before fleeing the store. The victim continued by stating that as he left the store a short time later, he found the suspect in the parking lot. The suspect displayed a small black handgun and demanded all of his money and his cell phone. The victim complied, and the suspect fled in an unknown vehicle. Robbery (Citizen) - Millersville

On March 1, 2023, at approximately 3:35 p.m., officers responded for a strong-arm robbery during dismissal at Old Mill High School located at 600 Patriot Lane in Millersville. Two teenage males were discussing the sale of a laptop computer. One of the males attempted to grab the laptop from the victim, who was able to pull away. The suspect then threw the victim to the ground, took the laptop, and fled the school. Officers located the suspect, who was charged accordingly. The laptop was returned. No weapons were used or displayed during this incident.

First-Degree Assault (Stabbing) - Annapolis

On March 2, 2023, at approximately 6:30 a.m., officers responded to the Anne Arundel Medical Center for an adult male victim who walked in with a non-life-threatening stab wound. The victim indicated that he was stabbed at an address in the 400 block of Master Derby Court in Annapolis. Officers responded to the address where the crime was reported to have occurred, however, were unable to locate a crime scene or any suspects. First-Degree Assault - Hanover

On March 1, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded for a report of an assault that just occurred in the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover. Upon their arrival, officers learned that as the victim was waiting at the bus stop on Arundel Mills Circle, he exchanged words with whom he described as two black male juveniles. During the heated exchange, one of the juveniles struck the victim in the back of the head with a bottle. The second suspect produced a handgun and told the victim that he would “shoot him if he didn’t leave.” The victim then walked away. Both suspects were last seen boarding a commuter bus and departing the area.
