Attempted Auto Theft - Pasadena

On February 17, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded for a report of suspicious subjects at the Antwerpen Motor Cars, 8065 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena. The caller indicated that the subjects were inside of a vehicle, removing the dash. As officers arrived, they observed three subjects flee from a Kia sedan, two of the three subjects were apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. During the course of their investigation, officers discovered that the subjects removed the dash of the Kia and were attempting to start it with a USB cable. The two suspects that were apprehended were arrested and charged accordingly. On February 18, 2023, at approximately 2:45 p.m., officers responded for a report of shots being fired in the area of Meade Village Circle and Hollow Court in Severn. The caller indicated that approximately 4-6 black males, who were wearing all black, were running around the parking lot. The caller advised that at least one of the males was armed with a handgun. During their investigation, officers discovered several spent shell casings in the 1700 and 1800 blocks of Meade Village Circle. There were no reports of physical injuries or property damage as a result of the shooting. Suspects: 4-6 black males, last seen wearing all-black clothing, and at least one suspect was armed with an unknown type handgun.

On February 19, 2023, at approximately 3:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of an armed subject with a gun at the McDonalds, 7053 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover. Upon their arrival officer learned that there was a customer dispute involving an employee and two occupants of a white or silver four-door sedan in the drive-thru. At one point, the driver of the sedan displayed a handgun, went on a profanity-laced tirade, and threatened to shoot the employee. The employee walked away from the drive-thru window and the suspect vehicle fled in an unknown direction. 1st-Degree Assault - Shady Side

On February 19, 2023, at approximately 12:45 p.m. officers responded for a report of an assault that just occurred in the 5200 block of Nick Road in Shady Side. The complainant informed officers that a male subject at the residence who was believed to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol, threatened a 12-year-old and 24-year-old with a knife. When officers arrived, the suspect retreated inside the residence and refused to exit. Officers established a perimeter, innocent persons were evacuated from the home, and officers (assisted by K-9) gave verbal commands for the suspect to exit. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
