Assault on Police - Arnold

On January 1, 2023, at approximately 1:45 a.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 400 block of Glen View Court in Arnold. While attempting to investigate that call for service, a male, unrelated to the call for service, began acting disorderly and interfering in the officer's investigation. The male became hostile and aggressive. The officers asked the original victim to walk away with them in an attempt to finish their call for service and diffuse the situation. The unrelated male followed the group outside and continued to hinder them. The officers advised the person that he was under arrest, at which time and began to resist by pulling away and not obeying commands. The male began grabbing under the officer's vest. During the struggle, an officer was injured and required treatment for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Shots Fired - Glen Burnie

On January 1, 2023, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 7500 block of Brightwater Beach Road for shots fired. The homeowners advised they heard what they believed to be fireworks around midnight the night prior, but when they woke up, they realized a bullet had come through their residence and pierced their headboard. Officers located other damage to the residence due to bullets. There were no injuries reported during this incident. Commercial Robbery - Gambrills

On December 31, 2022, at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a delayed reporting commercial robbery at Target located on Brandermill Boulevard in Gambrills. Loss Prevention advised on December 30, 2022, at approximately 7:00 p.m., an unknown suspect approached a cashier, implied a weapon, and stole an undisclosed amount of US Currency. Commercial Robbery - Brooklyn Park

Om December 30, 2022, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers, responded to the Exxon located in the 6900 block of B & A Boulevard for a commercial robbery. An employee advised the suspect entered the store, implied a weapon, and stole property from the establishment. The suspect fled the scene, and no injuries were reported. Robbery of a Citizen - Glen Burnie

On December 30, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a robbery of a citizen that just occurred in the 8000 block of Long Branch Terrace in Glen Burnie. Officers learned the victim was attempting to sell a dirtbike on Facebook Marketplace. The buyer arrived in a tan sedan with a friend. The buyer displayed a handgun while his friend rode off with the dirtbike. The victim attempted to call the police, but the suspect hit him and then stole his cell phone. Northern District
Assault/Road Rage - Glen Burnie
23-700035

On January 1, 2023, at approximately 9:30 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Arundel Corporation Road for an ATV crash. Officers learned that the suspect observed the victim riding on an ATV by his residence. The suspect got in his vehicle, got in front of the ATV, and abruptly stopped in front of it. The ATV went around the vehicle onto a gravel lot. The vehicle pulled onto the gravel lot, where he then struck the ATV and victim. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the ATV was rendered inoperable. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
