Commercial Robbery - Odenton (Update)

On November 26, 2022, at approximately 8:00 p.m. officers responded to the Walgreens located in the 8300 block of Piney Orchard Parkway for a robbery. Officers were advised the suspect went to purchase an item and when the cash register opened he jumped the counter, forcibly pushed the cashier out of the way, and stole currency. The suspect then fled on foot. Commercial Robbery Detectives are investigating and ask anyone with any information to call 410-222-4720 or the TipLine at 410-222-4700.
Suspect: Black male, mid-twenties -thirties, thin build, medium height

Assault - Glen Burnie

On December 4, 2022, at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers responded for a report of an assault with a knife in the 1000 block of Twin View in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival, the victim advised that he was a care provider for the elderly resident of the home. The victim went on to say that while they were at the residence another family member arrived and became disorderly when he was asked to leave. The suspect and victim got into a physical altercation which led to the suspect displaying a knife and threatening the victim. The suspect, who was still at the residence, was taken into custody without incident. He was arrested and charged accordingly.

Theft / Assault - Hanover

On December 2, 2022, at approximately 3:00 p.m. officers were approached by a victim who wanted to report a theft that just occurred at Maryland Live Casino located at 7002 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover. The victim reported an unknown male took a voucher from the slot machine where he was gambling. The victim followed the suspect outside and stood in front of the suspect’s vehicle, attempting to prevent him from leaving. The suspect drove forward, pushing the victim out of the way with his vehicle. Assault on Police - Gambrills

On December 2, 2022, at approximately 9:30 p.m. officers responded for a report of domestic violence in the 1000 block of Crain Highway in Gambrills. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the couple, at which time the female fled and entered a vehicle. As the officer approached the vehicle the female backed over the officer's foot. The female fled in the vehicle after striking the officer. During the course of their investigation officers developed an address for the suspect. The suspect was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Shooting (Non-Contact) - Odenton

On December 3, 2022, at approximately 2:00 a.m. officers responded for a report of gunshots fired at My Place Bar and Lounge located at 1676 Annapolis Road in Odenton. Witnesses told officers there was an argument followed by two males firing shots at each other. No victims were located. One vehicle was damaged by a projectile.
