On October 22, 2022, at approximately 12:50, officers responded for a report of a robbery of a citizen in the area of 4th Avenue and Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. The 42-year-old male victim was seated on his bicycle when he was approached by a male and female suspect. The male suspect punched the victim, knocking him off the bicycle. The suspects fled with the bicycle, however, were quickly located and arrested by responding officers.

Attempted Carjacking/Shots Fired - Hanover

On October 23, 2022, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the Walmart located at 7081 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover for a report of an attempted carjacking and gunshots fired. The 42-year-old male victim was getting into his vehicle, a maroon BMW X5, when he was approached by two suspects armed with handguns. The victim drew a legally owned, legally possessed, licensed handgun to defend himself but was fired upon three times by the suspects. The victim was not struck. The victim, who is licensed to carry a handgun, did not fire his weapon. The suspects left in a silver sedan. Assault on Police/Disorderly - Gambrills

On October 22, 2022, at approximately 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the Skate Zone located in the 1000 block of Crain Highway South for a fight in the parking lot. While officers were attempting to defuse the situation, the subject began to destroy property and became combative. While the aggressor was being placed under arrest, she scratched and bit the officer. The officer sustained minor injuries.

Shots Fired - Severn

On October 23, 2022, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded to an address in the 1200 block of Pine Cone Court in Severn for a bullet hole in a house. The homeowners noticed a bullet lodged in their bedroom dresser. The trajectory of the bullet showed that the bullet entered the home via a second-story exterior wall. The homeowners did not know when their house was shot, nor did they have any suspect information.

Carjacking - Annapolis

On October 22, 2022, at approximately 4:20 p.m., officers responded for a carjacking at the Orange Parking Garage at the Annapolis Mall. The 40-year-old male victim was placing shopping bags into the trunk of his vehicle, a blue 2023 BMW X6, when he was approached by two suspects armed with handguns. The suspects demanded the victim's keys and personal property. One of the suspects left the scene with the victim’s vehicle, and the other got into a silver sedan being driven by a third suspect. The BMW was recovered in S.E. Washington, DC. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
