On October 7, 2022, at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded for a report of a single-vehicle collision in a parking lot at 575 East Ordnance Road in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that had struck a tree. The driver of the vehicle was still seated in the driver’s seat. Officers detected signs of impairment on the part of the driver, who was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence and other related traffic charges. The driver was identified as PFC K. Froh, a 3-year veteran of the Anne Arundel County Police Department assigned to the Bureau of Patrol. Froh has been administratively suspended with pay pending an investigation by the Office of Professional Standards.

Weapons Offense - Annapolis

On October 6, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m. members of the Southern District Tactical Patrol Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation in the area of Maryland Route 50 West and West Street in Annapolis. After making contact with the driver officers learned that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During their investigation officers located a loaded .38 caliber revolver. The driver was prohibited from possessing a firearm. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
