Assault - Glen Burnie

On September 16, 2022, at approximately 6:00 a.m., officers responded for an assault at the Atomoco gas station located at 7444 Furnace Branch Road East in Glen Burnie. An unknown male suspect attempted to purchase a tobacco product but did not have enough money. When the clerk did not allow the suspect to leave with the product, the suspect raised his shirt showing the handle of a handgun, and threatened the clerk. The suspect then left the area in a white mid-size sedan. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135 or the tip line at 410-222-4700. 

Suspect: Black male, late 20’s-early 30’s, long black shirt, black pants, white shoes

CDS Violation - Odenton

On September 16, 2022, at approximately 12:30 a.m., an officer observed an occupied vehicle, a silver 2015 Honda Accord, parked at the Motel 6 located at 1630 Annapolis Road in Odenton. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and observed suspected marijuana inside the vehicle. The investigation resulted in the seizure of a loaded .40 caliber Polymer 80 handgun and approximately 181 grams of suspected marijuana. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
