Shooting (Contact) - Linthicum

On August 15, 2022, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers responded for a reported shooting that just occurred at the Tobacco House at 829 Nursery Road in Linthicum.  Investigation revealed that a fight between multiple parties occurred in the parking lot and a lone suspect shot a handgun.  All subjects then fled the scene, in vehicles and on foot.  As units came into the area, officers observed the suspect whom witnesses described, who immediately began to run.  With the assistance of K-9, the suspect was located, detained, and positively identified by witnesses as the suspect with the firearm. During the investigation, officers were notified that a victim self-reported to a local hospital with gunshot injuries. Attempt Robbery (Commercial) - Glen Burnie

On August 16, 2022, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of an attempted robbery of the 7-Eleven at 1250 Crain Highway South in Glen Burnie. An employee reported that a subject dressed in all black approached the front door and pointed a gun waving for him to open the door. The doors to the business were electronically locked and when the employee did not unlock them the suspect fled on foot. Black male, slim/average build and height, black/dark colored, mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes, black semi-automatic handgun

 

Eastern District
Theft From Auto/Tampering - Severna Park

On August 16, 2022, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of a suspicious person in the area of Kagee Court and Old Country Road in Severna Park. The victim informed police that he was alerted by his Ring camera device, to a subject that was in his driveway and pulling on the door handles of his vehicles. The subject was described as a black male wearing a light-colored jacket, gray camouflage, and blue pants. As officers were arriving in the area they observed the subject in the driveway of a neighboring residence. The subject was detained and subsequently positively identified as the suspect that was tampering with the victim's vehicles. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
