Residential Burglary (Arrests) - Pasadena

On March 20, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m. officers responded to the 200 block of 215th Street in Pasadena for a prowler complaint. The homeowner advised someone was banging on her door. While on the phone with 911, the caller advised she thought the male entered the home through a rear door. Officers arrived on the scene and located two male suspects in the home. Both males were arrested and charged. Officers assisted the homeowner in finding three young puppies who scattered during the incident. There were no injuries to the homeowner or the puppies during this incident.

On March 20, 2022, at approximately 10:20 a.m. officers responded to the 100 block of Benmere Road for an armed subject with a gun. The complainant advised he went outside when he heard an acquaintance in a verbal altercation in the street. The complainant advised he told the unknown subject to "move along." The suspect then retrieved an "AR-style" weapon from his car and pointed it at him. The suspect fled the scene. The suspect was positively identified as Asa Vegas, he was located nearby and the weapon was recovered. There were no injuries in this incident.

Citizen Robbery - Glen Burnie

On March 19, 2022, at approximately 5:30 p.m. officers responded to the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway for a robbery of a citizen. The juvenile victim advised he was approached by a suspect who implied he was armed. The suspect demanded the victim's personal property and went through the victim's pockets before fleeing the scene. Officers and K9s searched the area for the suspect. A police K9 located the suspect in a wooded area, and he was taken into custody. The suspect was charged accordingly. There were no injuries reported in this incident.

Citizen Robbery/Stolen Auto - Odenton

On March 19, 2022, at approximately 11:30 a.m. officers responded to the 8300 block of Telegraph Road for a report of a stolen vehicle/robbery. The victim advised he was walking to his parked vehicle when he was approached by two males who assaulted him and took his keys. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The vehicle that was stolen was a 2001 Toyota Sienna with Maryland registration. The victim was not able to give specifics on the suspects' descriptions.

Commercial Burglary (Arrest) - Baltimore

On March 19, 2022, at approximately 5:00 a.m. officers responded to an alarm at B & B Transmission in the 4700 block of Belle Grove Road in Baltimore. Upon arrival, officers found two suspects fleeing the scene. Evidence of a burglary was recovered. One of the two suspects was caught and arrested. Commercial Burglary (Arrest) - Edgewater

On March 20, 2022, at approximately 7:30 a.m. officers responded to Bay Country Crabbing on Solomons Island Road for an alarm. Upon arrival, officers discovered the business had been burglarized and observed the suspect fleeing on foot. Officers engaged in a brief foot pursuit with the suspect before losing sight of him. Officers obtained surveillance video of the vehicle and suspect.
At approximately 11:00 a.m. the same day, officers located the suspect's vehicle parked with the suspect sleeping inside. Upon approaching the vehicle, the driver awoke and fled in the vehicle. Officers followed the vehicle approximately one mile before the suspect stopped at a dead-end and once again, fled on foot. After an approximately 10-minute foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody. The vehicle the suspect was driving was stolen from another jurisdiction and evidence of the above burglary was recovered.

On March 20, 2022, at approximately 1:30 a.m. officers responded to the area of Stillmeadows Drive and Sparrow Court for shots heard in the area. When officers arrived, they located evidence of numerous shots being fired. As of this writing, no injuries have been reported, only property damage.

Weapon Violation/CDS - Severn

On March 20, 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation in the area of Stillmeadows Drive at Jacobs Road. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed located Glock 27 handgun and suspected marijuana. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
