On March 16, 2022, at approximately 1:50 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a silver 2003 Infinity in the area of Ritchie Highway and 16th Avenue in Brooklyn Park. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the seizure of approximately 202 grams of suspected marijuana packaged for distribution, 23 pills of suspected MDMA, a digital scale, and packaging material. The suspect was charged accordingly.

Weapons Violation - Pasadena

On March 15, 2022, at approximately 11:15 a.m. officers observed suspected CDS distribution activity in a parking lot in the 8100 block of Tower Bridge Drive in Pasadena. The investigation led officers to speak with two suspects seated in a parked blue Volkswagen. During the interaction, officers conducted a probable cause search of both suspects. The suspect seated in the passenger seat was found to be in possession of 18 pills of suspected Alprazolam, 8 pills of suspected MDMA, 5.5 pills of suspected Oxycodone Hydrochloride, $886 in U.S. currency, a digital scale, and a Polymer 80 (Glock style) semi-automatic .45 caliber handgun loaded with 25 rounds of ammunition. The suspect seated in the driver’s seat was found to be in possession of 2 pills containing suspected MDMA, 1 pill containing suspected Oxycodone Hydrochloride, and 1 pill containing suspected Alprazolam. Both suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.

Attempted Citizen Robbery - Laurel

On March 16, 2022, at approximately 2:00 a.m. officers responded to the 7900 block of Orion Circle for an attempted robbery of a citizen. The victim advised she was smoking a cigarette on her ground-level patio when two suspects told her to turn around and put her hands up. One of the males patted her pockets and both fled the scene when they didn’t locate any property. The subjects fled the scene, no weapon was implied or seen.

Shots Fired - Harwood

On March 16, 2022, at approximately 12:15 a.m. officers responded to the area of Sands Road near Bayard Road for shots being fired. While searching the area another 911 call was received from the 1500 block of Flanders Lane advising someone just shot into their residence. Bullets had entered the home, over an occupied bed, and lodged in the wall of an adjacent room. The home was occupied by two adults when the shots were fired. Officers located evidence of at least 12 shots being fired and recovered additional evidence from an area outside of the home. No injuries were reported during this incident.
