On March 3, 2022, at approximately 4:40 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop of a black Buick Lucerne in the area of Crain Highway and Hidden Brook Drive in Glen Burnie. During the stop, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted resulting in the seizure of a small amount of suspected marijuana and a loaded .38 caliber Smith & Wesson M&P Shield handgun. The driver was found to be prohibited from possessing firearms and was arrested and charged.
