Carjacking - Odenton

On February 25, 2022, at approximately 3:30 a.m. officers responded for a carjacking that occurred in the 8300 block of Telegraph Road in Odenton. The victim was walking toward his vehicle, a silver 2019 Nissan Altima when he was approached by two male suspects. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s keys and wallet. The victim complied and the suspects fled in the vehicle northbound on Telegraph Road. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or suspects. Assault - Annapolis

On February 24, 2022, at approximately 6:45 p.m. officers responded for an assault at the Giant grocery store located at 2323 Forest Drive in Annapolis. A store employee attempted to stop a suspect who exited the store without paying for items. During a struggle between the suspect and employee, the suspect retrieved a box-cutter knife and attempted to stab the employee. The employee was able to free himself and the suspect fled. Officers searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him. The victim did not report any injuries.
