Assault / Shots Fired (Arrest Update) - Annapolis

On January 26, 2022, at approximately 3:25 p.m., officers responded for a report of a fight involving several males in the unit block of Oak Court in Annapolis. 911 callers reported that several gunshots were fired during the incident. Officers arrived on the scene and located two adult males with minor injuries from the fight. No injuries were reported as a result of the gunshots fired. Four unknown males fled the scene before the officers arrived. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects. Officers located several 9mm and .40 caliber shell casings at the scene. Southern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-1960. Update (February 2, 2022): 

On January 27, 2022, officers located two of the shooting suspects, Esteban Salmeron Ruiz, 18, of Annapolis, and Ronni Anthony Alfaro Turcios, 23, of Annapolis, and placed them into custody. Through investigation, detectives were able to identify two additional suspects in the case and located and arrested Luis Daniel Martinez, 18, of Annapolis the same day. On February 1, 2022, investigators located the fourth suspect, Javier Alfonso Nunez-Arvaiza, 20, of Annapolis, and placed him into custody.
