On January 28, 2022, at approximately 4:30 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of 1st Street in Brooklyn for a report of a male armed with a handgun. An adult male and adult female victim had been in an argument with the suspect, who is known to them. During the argument, the suspect withdrew a handgun and pointed it at the victims. The suspect fled in a white Honda Accord. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. An application for charges against the suspect was filed and awaiting service. No injuries were reported as a result of this assault. Robbery / Brooklyn Park

On January 29, 2022, at approximately 2:50 p.m. officers responded for a robbery at the Lidl located at 5722 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park for a robbery. A loss prevention officer confronted a suspect who was attempting to steal items from the store. The suspect withdrew a knife and thrust it toward the loss prevention officer, cutting the loss prevention officer’s pants. The loss prevention officer did not report any injuries as a result of the assault. The suspect fled but was quickly located by officers in the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway. The suspect was in possession of items taken from the Lidl and was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Theft from Auto (Arrest) / Glen Burnie

On January 29, 2022, at approximately 1:25 a.m. officers responded to a theft from motor vehicle call in progress in the 700 block of Berry Road in Glen Burnie. When officers arrived at the location they observed two individuals matching the description provided by the victim. Both suspects were arrested and found to be in possession of property belonging to the victim.

On January 29, 2022, at approximately 8:05 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop of a blue 2020 Subaru Forester on Reece Road near Loving Road in Severn. During the stop, a consent search of the vehicle was conducted resulting in the seizure of the following evidence:
- 21 bars (2mg each) of suspected Xanax
- 15 pills (15mg each) of suspected Oxycodone
- 1 pill (10mg) of suspected Oxycodone
- 7 pills (2mg each) of suspected Clonazepam
- 1 pill (50mg) of suspected Tramadol
- 78.04 grams of suspected marijuana
- 1 digital scale
- $942.00 US currency
The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
