Annapolis, MD (Jan. 19, 2022) County Executive Steuart Pittman released the following statement regarding the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court’s denial of a temporary restraining order for the face covering requirement implemented by Anne Arundel County Health Officer Dr. Nilesh Kalyanaraman.
“I want to thank the Court for its wisdom in this ruling. Thirty-nine of our residents lost their lives to COVID last week. Keeping this requirement in place for a little longer will help reduce the strains on our hospitals and healthcare workers, and save the lives of our friends, our neighbors, and our family members.”
