On January 6, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m., officers observed a known wanted male in the parking lot of the Motel 6 located at 1630 Annapolis Road in Odenton. The officers approached the male as he got into his vehicle, a gray Honda Accord, and placed him into custody. The male was found to be in possession of 238 pre-packaged bags of suspected marijuana (approximately three pounds including packaging), approximately three grams of suspected heroin, and an unloaded unidentified handgun with the make, model, and serial number obliterated. He was charged accordingly.

Weapons Violation - Hanover

On January 6, 2022, at approximately 2:50 p.m., officers responded for a motor vehicle crash on Arundel Mills Boulevard near Mills Drive in Hanover. When officers arrived, they observed one of the drivers involved in the accident burying a handgun in the snow. The officers retrieved the handgun, a loaded 9mm polymer 80 “ghost gun” with an extended magazine, from the snow. The driver is prohibited from possessing firearms. He was arrested and charged accordingly.
