Homicide / Glen Burnie
On Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at approximately 12:40 p.m., Anne Arundel County Police Officers responded to an apartment complex located in the 400 block of Hideaway Loop in Glen Burnie, Maryland, for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male, 21-year-old Jordan Adam Marroquin-Pereira, of Glen Burnie, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). Unfortunately, lifesaving efforts could not revive the male, and he was pronounced deceased at an area hospital.
The Anne Arundel County Police Homicide Unit is investigating. Evidence recovered from the scene indicates this was a targeted incident, and there is no known ongoing threat to the community.

Update (December 30, 3021 10:45 a.m.):
Through investigative means, detectives identified 18-year-old, Paul Pedro Rodriguez of Millersville as a suspect in this investigation. Rodriguez was taken into custody this morning without incident, his charges include first and second-degree murder. Destruction (Shots Fired) - Severn

On December 29, 2021, at approximately 6:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of multiple gunshots in the area of the 8100 block of Meade Village Circle in Severn. When officers arrived they located a parked gray 2014 Kia Soul damaged by a projectile. Officers located several shell casings in the roadway near the intersection of Meade Village Road and Meade Village Circle. Officers canvassed the neighborhood and spoke with community members, however, no witnesses were located. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Commercial Armed Robbery (Arrest Update) / Hanover

On December 12, 2021, at approximately 7:30 p.m. officers responded to the Shell Gas Station located in the 1300 block of Dorsey Road in Hanover for a robbery that just occurred. Two suspects entered the store, implied a weapon, and stole property from the establishment. Update (12/30/21):
Through investigation, detectives identified 19-year-old Harrelle Joseph Felipa, Jr. as one of the suspects in this incident. He was taken into custody and charged on December 21, 2021.
