Shooting - Glen Burnie

On September 21, 2021, at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers responded to the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway for a report of a shooting. Officers met with a 25-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. The victim told officers he was on Lamplighter Ridge when he was shot by a tall male wearing dark clothing. The victim was then driven to a Shell gas station where he called for assistance. Fire Department personnel transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injury. Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135. Citizen Robbery - Glen Burnie

On September 21, 2021, at approximately 5:20 p.m., officers responded for a strong-arm robbery of a citizen in the 400 block of King George Drive in Glen Burnie. A 10-year-old male victim was riding a red Coleman Powersports CT100U motorcycle (minibike) when he was approached by two male suspects, also riding a minibike. The male suspects pushed the victim off of his minibike, stole the minibike, and fled. Officers canvassed the area and located one of the suspects still in possession of the stolen motorcycle in the area of Aquahart Road and Oakwood Road. That suspect was arrested and charged. The second suspect, who is described as a white male in his late teens wearing black clothing, was not located. The victim did not report any injuries as a result of this incident. Assault - Brooklyn Park

On September 21, 2021, at approximately 4:10 p.m., officers responded for a stabbing at a residence in the 200 block of Cresswell Road in Brooklyn Park. Two adult male subjects were involved in an altercation. One of the subjects assaulted the 42-year-old victim with a knife, causing a non-life-threatening injury to the victim’s upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Weapons; CDS Violation - Brooklyn Park

On September 21, 2021, at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a black Acura TL at Belle Grove Road and Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer observed suspected CDS paraphernalia visible within the vehicle. The investigation led to a search of the vehicle and occupants, resulting in the seizure of an Armi Galesi .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun loaded with seven rounds of ammunition from the vehicle passenger. Additionally, officers located a small amount of suspected marijuana, a black digital scale with suspected CDS residue, and a pill containing suspected MDMA within the vehicle. The passenger was arrested and charged accordingly.

CDS Violation - Annapolis

On September 21, 2021, at approximately 9:45 p.m., officers were checking on a white Hyundai parked at the rear of a business located at 321 Busch’s Frontage Road in Annapolis. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officers observed suspected CDS paraphernalia in plain view of the vehicle. The investigation led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of 10 capsules of suspected heroin/fentanyl and a small amount of marijuana. The vehicle occupant was placed into custody and charged accordingly.
