On September 7, 2021, at approximately 10:40 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a black Audi A7 at 10th Avenue and Marshall Road in Brooklyn Park. The operator of the vehicle was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Baltimore County. During a search of the vehicle, the officer located a loaded Taurus .44 magnum revolver, which was stolen out of Baltimore. The operator was placed under arrest and charged.

Armed Robbery / Laurel

On September 7, 2021, at approximately 8:25 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Old Line Avenue in laurel for a citizen armed robbery. The 43-year-old male victim was walking toward his residence when he was approached by two unknown male suspects. Both suspects threw beer bottles at the victim, striking the victim in the head. One of the suspects then pointed a handgun at the victim and removed his personal property. The suspects then rummaged through the victim’s vehicle before fleeing in a dark-colored sedan toward Laurel Fort Meade Road. The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury to his head. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. 2) Black male, wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt
