Citizen Armed Robbery / Glen Burnie

On August 20, 2021, at approximately 12:35 a.m., officers responded for a robbery of a citizen in the 300 block of 6th avenue in Glen Burnie. The 30-year-old male victim returned home and observed an unknown vehicle parked in his driveway and an unknown male standing in his yard. The victim realized he didn’t have his house key and returned to his vehicle to retrieve it. At that time, he was confronted by the male he had noticed moments earlier. The male lifted his shirt and displayed a handgun that was tucked into his waistband. The suspect then held a knife to the victim’s waist and demanded property. The victim handed over his wallet and other personal property to the suspect, who fled in a dark gray older model sedan. Officers canvassed the neighborhood and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Suspect: White male, 5’ 6” - 5’ 8”, 180 lbs., with beard, large gauge style earrings, and arm tattoos

CDS Violation / Glen Burnie

On August 19, 2021, at approximately 9:55 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a gray Ford Fusion at Crainmont Drive and Donna Court in Glen Burnie. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and observed suspected marijuana flakes and residue throughout the vehicle. The officer investigated and located five packages containing concentrated cannabis oil (85-90% THC), a digital scale, and 24 assorted packages containing suspected marijuana / THC. Both occupants were placed into custody. The driver was found to be in possession of a plastic bag containing 22.79 grams of suspected marijuana. The passenger was found to be in possession of a plastic bag containing 33.41 grams of suspected marijuana. Both suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.
